Mills Calmag

Mills Calmag – Calcium Magnesium Supplement
A highly concentrated calcium nitrate and magnesium oxide fertiliser solution that will help prevent deficiencies, especially important when cultivating in coco coir substrate.
Mills Calmag can be used in hard or soft water and can help stabilize the pH in RO water by adding some beneficial mineral content.
Adding calmag will also help to stimulate vigorous growth and flowering as it helps with nutrient uptake.

Use
Add Mills Calmag at a rate of 1ml per litre of water throughout growth and flowering stages.
If you are measuring EC, always add additives to the nutrient reservoir, at the recommended dose, before adding the base nutrient to bring the EC up to the required level.

Tips
When growing plants in coco coir it is fairly common to get unwanted yellowing of leaves, using calmag will help to avoid or cure this.
It can be helpful to drench the substrate in a solution of calmag the day before potting on to prevent later issues, simply fill the pot(s) with coco coir and water with a solution of calmag(1ml per litre) until some solution run out of the base of the pot then leave overnight to allow the calmag to be fully absorbed into the coco fibres.
