Hygrostats are used in conjunction with humidifiers, they measure the humidity levels within an area and turn the humidifier on and off as required.

How to use
Mount the hygrostat on a wall within the grow room or tent in an area where the humidity is stable, then set the approximate humidity you require.

If you let the humidifier run for a couple of hours you can refer to your min/max therma-hygrometer, then fine tune the dial to acheive the humidity your plants will thrive on.
